LEVEL UP
We want to give a huge shout-out to Ms. Gamill, who truly leveled up this year in so many ways! This week, she quickly organized i-Ready focus groups that brought together parents, teachers, and students. This was a massive undertaking, and she pulled it off flawlessly in a very short time!
Ms. Gamill is an incredible asset to our school community. She was instrumental in helping all of our teachers stay on pace with assessments throughout the year and, even more importantly, she helped countless students with their academic language skills. Thank you, Ms. Gamill, for embodying the Creek Credo and for your outstanding dedication to our students and staff!

Last week, we had the pleasure of celebrating a significant "level up" for our youngest learners – the incredible Kindergarten Class of 2037! Our 76 Cubs shone brightly as they participated in their kindergarten graduation ceremony.
The students performed beautifully and navigated the complexities of the ceremony with confidence. From remembering their cues to sharing their songs and smiles, they impressed us all. Hearing their names called and watching them receive their certificates of completion was a moment of pride for our entire school community.
We extend our congratulations to each and every one of our kindergarten graduates. You have laid a fantastic foundation for your educational journey, and we are so excited to watch you continue to grow and learn. Your next big milestone here at BCE will be your 5th-grade completion ceremony – keep reaching for those new levels!

We are always leveling up at school! This week, we want to give a huge shout-out to our incredible kindergarteners who truly embraced our "Spreading Kindness" initiative, a core part of the Creek Credo.
Thanks to a silent auction item from Ms. Magana, some lucky kindergarten winners got to participate in a special kindness craft project. They made two gift bags each, designed to spread happiness and show kindness to others. It was wonderful to see their creativity and hear their excitement about sharing their creations!
We're so grateful for your continued partnership in teaching the Creek Credo at home. Your support helps us instill these important values in our students every day.

What a special day this is. We're here to celebrate our amazing fifth graders.
Parents, families, teachers, and staff – thank you for being here to honor this incredible group of Cubs, future Broncos.
And to our fifth grade Cubs, look at you all! You've made it. Almost one thousand days of elementary school, and look how much you've grown. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
This class truly is special. As you get ready for middle school at HMS, let's take a moment to look back at some of the wonderful memories you've made here at Bear Creek.
Many of you started your journey right here in kindergarten, and I bet some of you remember those exciting Show and Tell days! Some of you got to show each other your houses and learned how to use technology really fast. You were so brave, sharing your favorite toys and treasures with your classmates.
Then there was third grade! Does anyone remember Ms. Beach and her love for Star Wars? One of you told me you especially loved her poster that said, "I'm out defeating the empire!" It sounds like reading that every day was a great way to get ready for learning.
And just recently, in fifth grade, you all got to experience Sky Ranch! Many of you had a modern travel experience. You showed patience and resilience as you returned from the trip.
One thing that really stands out when we talk about Bear Creek is how much you appreciate your **teachers and staff**. You've shared how nice they are, and it's clear they've made a big impact on your time here. From helping you learn to read and write, to exploring new ideas, to making school a fun and supportive place, your teachers and the entire staff have been there for you every step of the way. Let's give a huge round of applause to all the Bear Creek teachers and staff!
Fifth graders, you are ready for your next adventure. You've learned so much, you've grown so much, and you've shown us all what amazing things you can do. Keep that credo in mind as you go on to Middle School: Show Respect, Work Hard, Be Kind, no excuses as you move on to middle school and beyond. We know you're going to do great things!
Congratulations, Bear Creek Class of 2025! We are so proud of you!

We are excited to welcome the former Cubs who are now seniors in high school. They will be visiting the Creek on Wednesday at 2 pm.
They will walk the halls of their elementary school and finish their tour with Coach Adkins in the gym!
💛💙🐻

🌟 Huge shoutout to our amazing PTA for always knowing exactly when our teachers need a little pick-me-up! On a hot Thursday afternoon, they surprised the entire staff with refreshing Sonic drinks - and our teachers absolutely loved it! 🥤☀️
Thank you for keeping our educators energized and appreciated. We’re so lucky to have such a thoughtful community supporting us!
💙

Book Tasting at the Creek: Where Learning is a Delightful Experience!
Our fourth-grade reading teachers recently transformed their classrooms into cozy, inviting restaurants for a special **Book Tasting** activity. Just like diners browsing a menu, students explored a variety of books by sampling.
This creative approach makes reading fun and interactive, inspiring students to become enthusiastic readers while practicing important literacy skills. We love having fun while learning at the Creek, and Book Tasting is just one of the many ways we bring excitement to our classrooms!

Thank You to Our BCE Community!
We want to extend a BIG **thank you** to our amazing BCE community for your incredible support throughout so many school spirit nights this year. Together, we’ve built a stronger community while having a lot of fun along the way!
From playing games at Rock and Brews, trying out the new Portillo’s restaurant, to even bringing our pets along to Lazy Dog, these events have brought us closer and created wonderful memories.
Our BCE community’s enthusiasm has made a difference, and the funds raised have gone directly to supporting the many programs and activities that benefit our students and staff at the Creek.
A special shout-out goes to **Ms. Brittany Workman**, parent and teacher, who has done an amazing job planning all these fantastic nights. Our most recent event at Chuck E. Cheese was a blast, and we can’t wait for more fun times ahead in 2025-2026.
Thank you all for being part of this journey and for making BCE such a vibrant and supportive community!
