Visitor Information

All campuses remain locked during the school day. Intercom systems are located at the main entrances of our schools. The main entrance at GMS is on the south side of the building, facing Walgreens.

Visitors should go to the main entrance and press the intercom button located near the front door. Designated campus personnel will identify the visitor and the purpose of the visit.

Once access to the vestibule is granted, visitors must check in at one of the Raptor Kisoks. Our campuses utilize Raptor which compares information in the national sex offender database. Visitors will be asked to present a driver's license or state-issued ID. This will provide an added layer of protection to ensure our schools remain secure environments for students, staff, and approved visitors. You scan your ID and the kiosk will print out a badge for you.

You can then enter the front office and the receptionist will assist you.

The District has the right to refuse entry to or eject a person from property under the District's control. (Additional information)

Thank you for your cooperation in presenting your valid state-issued ID when checking in at any of our campuses. We appreciate your support.

Deliveries/Drop offs at Vestibule

We do allow parents/guardians to drop off items for their student on the table in the Vestibule. There are sticky notes provided so you may put your student's name on the items. If you are dropping off lunch money, please bring it into the reception area and give it to the front desk receptionist. We will do our best to assist in coordinating with pick up for laptops, cell phones, band instruments, and ID badges, but will be limited to staff availability and these items may not get to your child right away. We will not call students down (unless it is for something urgent or lunch money.) It is the parent/student's responsibility to coordinate these items with your student.

Lunch Drop-Offs:

For student lunch drop offs, you can leave them on the table in the entry vestibule. Make sure they are labeled with your student's name (there are sticky notes provided on the table.) We will not call down students for drop-offs, though you may text or let them know yourself, they will have to come to pick it up during lunch or between passing periods. It is recommended that students charge a lunch if they forget to bring one because we can not ensure that they will get the lunch left on the table.

NOTE: Students may NOT order DoorDash, UberEats or Favour (etc) to be delivered to campus. Food drop-offs MUST be made by the student's parent/guardian/emergency contact.
