Join us on Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th for Theatre's annual spring musical... WILLY WONKA, JR. featuring GMS theatre, choir, art, and band students! Our show will include all the enchanting songs from the infamous 1971 Gene Wilder film, as well as a host of fun new songs! This scrumdiddlyumptious musical is guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth!

About Mrs. Martin:

Mrs. Martin has been the Theatre Director at Grapevine Middle School since 2020. She previously taught and directed theatre at the high school level in Alexandria, Louisiana until she and her husband moved to DFW in the crazy summer of 2020!

Mrs. Martin received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University in Theatre Performance and Directing and plans to one day pursue her Masters Degree in Theatre Education.

Mrs. Martin has spent her life devoting herself to the arts and growing in her skills as a performer and educator, specifically in vocal music and theatre performance/directing. She has been involved in theatre since her very first musical at the age of 4 years old! She was raised in a family of educators, musicians, and performers who helped spark within her a passion for the arts and education. She believes that the middle school age is such an exciting age to work with in the theatre and she loves her GMS & Theatre Family so much!
